Auto-Free Orange County is a non-profit environmental organization, promoting public transit and walkable communities.  A by-product of this is the personal fitness you get by using your car less.   Our mission is to attract people to a less car-dependent lifestyle by highlighting the benefits and enhancing the image of the car-free life.

Auto-Free Orange County was founded in 1996 in Laguna Beach, California.  Our innovative and upbeat approach to the auto-free lifestyle has attracted media  attention and a diverse membership from all socio-economic levels throughout Orange County.
